This year we are celebrating 10 years of Outright Vermont convincing teams of a dozen Vermonters of all ages to pull a fully loaded fire truck up the Burlington Church Street Marketplace – the 10th FIRE TRUCK PULL. Yes, for real.
This hilarious annual fundraiser will be on September 28th, 2013 at 12pm at the Church Street Marketplace in Burlington. Register your team/yourself now!
All proceeds from the event benefit Outright Vermont. Since 1989, Outright has worked to provide safety and support for queer youth, helped make schools safer, and focused on youth empowerment, leadership, and advocacy. In 2012, the pull raised $25,000 for Vermont’s queer youth and we hope to smash that record this year.
Teams compete for the coveted Golden Fire Truck prize. Prizes are awarded for “Best Dressed,” “Most Funds Raised (both team and individual),” “Fastest Pull Time,” and “Audience Choice.”

The event will also includes music, guest judges – the Logger!, and more!
If you are interested in participating, but don’t have a team (or enough people for a team), just let Melissa Murray, the Chief of the Fire Truck Pull event, know and she will get you on a team. Email: melissa[at]outrightvt.org or call the Outright VT office 802-865-9677 ext. 1
