Camp Outright

Check out our Camp Outright website!

Camp Outright is open to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, and allied (LGBTQQA) youth, ages 13-18. You do not need to identify as LGBTQQ to come to camp. Straight allies are also welcome! Youth in the 19-22 age range are encouraged to apply to Camp Outright’s CIT program.

Camp Outright is a six day/five night residential summer camp program for queer and allied youth.   Camp Outright a traditional summer camp experience with a queer twist; campers will participate in a wide variety of daily activities based upon their interests, including swimming and boating, team games like soccer, ultimate frisbee, archery, and Quidditch. Other activities will include visual and performing arts, wilderness skills, social justice workshops, and special topical workshops to address needs stated by queer youth.

For more details on attending camp, check out our Camp Outright website.

Imagine what it would have been like for you if you got to go to a queer summer camp as a youth…

Or if your queer child, niece or nephew, or grandchild got to go…

Outright Vermont is making queer youth summer camp a reality with CAMP OUTRIGHT.  With your help this year, we can meet our goal of sponsoring the cost of camp for half the campers.

In our first year, we made the dream of queer summer camp reality for nearly 40 queer youth from Vermont and all over New England. Our second year brought us even more campers and a greater number of youth and more fun activities such as glee club, queer fashion runway and iron kitchen chef!

Will this be the way you support Outright Vermont this year?

This is a chance for Outright Vermont donors to come together as a queer family and combine our donations to sponsor queer youth campers.

How many scholarships can we provide together?  Ten? Twenty?  More?
